July! June! May! April! March Journey Pics! February Journey Pics! January Journey Pics (& Videos)! _________________________________________________________ Journey Overseas: One of the perks of being a Queens Student was that in the summer between your Junior and Senior year you were allowed to take a three-week trip to a choice of about ten places around the world. A Mini-Journey with my friend Danny... Last Summer in Maine. We both had Glide Passes on Independence Air (when they were still in business) last Summer where we could fly as much as we wanted East of the Mississippi on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. So, we both flew flew up with only our backpacks and directions to the local bike shop where we rented bikes. The rest is in the pics... Click the picture above.
While in Maine, I was checking my e-mail in the Portland Public Library when I came across an offer from the Professional Tennis Registry (my certifier) to be a Visiting Tennis Pro in Jamaica. Joshua Tree '05: Where the Streets Have No Name In December of 2005 I journeyed out west to visit my brother Luke with one goal in mind, to go camping. After realizing that no matter where we went it would still be freezing, we ended up going to Joshua Tree National Park, California. By the way, it was my first time in California. We camped for 3 days and 2 nights, I believe, yet I can't remember exactly. Click the pic above to see the pics...
Every year in early November, my friend's Dad, Tom McMeekan, puts on his favorite British Celebration, Guy Fawkes Night. It is a very interesting celebration in which the British and friends celebrate the burning of Guy Fawkes at the stake. I guess he was some really bad person in England a few hundred years ago. Mr. McMeekan has asked me to play the pipes for the celebration for the past three years. Anyway, click the picture above for some of the pics from this year's celebration...
